T-error

I remember a childhood story. Two love birds built a beautiful nest for their family with so much of effort. One day, after long search for food, they came back late to their nest. They were shocked to see another bird occupying their nest. The love birds told him, "It is our nest and we built with so much of effort". He replied them, "I found it and it is mine now". The love birds fought with him for days. Later they realized that they were wasting their time and energy, and it was not worth fighting anymore. They moved on to a different location and started their family.

Our history has been tainted with so much of bad events. People made mistakes and have been making them. I am sure that no country or society is perfect. But is it worth fighting for some past events? How much is worth for you and your children? Can you make some reasonable compromises for the sake of peace, your own peace, your children's peace? After all, the innocent people you are killing not your real enemies. Remember, destruction is so easy; do not think that you have achieved something. If you really want to show something great, then create something... make your society, your country a better place where freedom and knowledge blossom, men and women equal, no poverty and everybody is happy... show this to the world and to your enemy.

Oh, I forget it... you may not understand any of this logic, as you just follow some blind faith without any reasoning. There is a bad attitude in our society that it is OK to believe in something without any reasoning. It creates a platform, a foundation, a hideout for those go to extremes.

In this global village, everybody is dependent on each other like never before. If some group or segment or country falls behind, it is everybody's duty to bring them up; else it would affect every one of us. We have so much knowledge and power to create; at the same time, weapons to destroy entire earth in seconds. Together we can rise up, else we will fall together!

As unequalities exist in the world conflicts are bound to happen. Although we can't bring equalities every where we can expand it's reach. While that's happening, every country, esp poor countries like India, should spend lot of time & money for the betterment of intelligence & internal defence.

CNN had a great coverage for this event. Thanks to CNN. As I watched this event unfold, I was looking it with a different set of eyes. I could see the lapses of the authorities, politicians, security personnel, etc. Generally Police people yellow tape the zone if it happens elsewhere, but in Mumbai, people walk next to the Hotel freely, second thing, value for life is less, I see there was no effort to negotiate or engage these terrorists in any kind of communication, instead, commandos were dropped in, and they did not care if these terrorists killed the hostages. I think it was a numbers game. Even our Prime Minister's talks did not have any tact in dealing with these bad guys. All of them were busy blaming Pakistan. Leave alone all this, just few weeks ago all the Marathi localites were jumping with greatness about Mumbai, but ultimately the whole country was reacting to the local incidents in Mumbai. What Mumbai has to learn from this incident is that, they are not an Island, they have to live with all the different flavors of people that India is supporting or else Mumbai will not remain Mumbai.

No doubt, we should prepare ourselves well to deal with these bad elements. We should also work for equalities for a better long term solution.

Past things may not be repaired; and hence the need for some compromises from all sides for the sake of peace and better future. We should recognize that stupidity, any belief without reasoning has poison in its core.

CNN is just a US point of view. I am sure that certain things were not handled properly. Those kinds of things happened here as well. Hope, they learn from it.

I agree that our local identity fights are nasty (even between TN and Karnataka); that should be stopped. The main problem is... people do not know how to recognize good leadership.

Thanks for sharng your views regarding the barbaric bombing which just happened in your country. I watched the news with horror and disbelief that the world is still fulll of people who have no regard to mankind. I just can't believe that there are people on this earth who are still willing to die for no apparent reason/s. Let's hope that the world is watching and learning a good lesson from this senseless killings.

Which part? to bring them up or everybody's duty? In any case, I hope people realize it at least at social group level. I'm just repeating Martin L. King's words in different words: "We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools".

Is it possible? Likely impossible with the current state of human intelligence.
"Before we work on artificial intelligence why don't we do something about natural stupidity?"
